VISA wanted to increase spend among Russian holidaymakers travelling to Turkey for summer 2018. Using Thomas Cook’s data, reach and channels, we created a strategy that presented a unique opportunity (Thomas Cook was the number 1 tour operator for delivering passengers into Turkey, from anywhere). We created a promotion centred on winning one of 20 holidays of a lifetime, with an entry mechanic prompting customers to spend 250TRY on a Russian Visa card whilst in Turkey.
